Physiotherapist
Elliott moved from country NSW to Canberra in 2017 to complete his degree at the University of Canberra. Following several sporting injuries growing up, and subsequent physio rehab to get him back on the field, he began to develop a passion for helping other people achieve similar goals.
Elliott now prefers working predominantly with the neurological population and rehab aspect of physiotherapy. Eager to take on anything neurological, his interests include Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and spinal cord injury. Elliott remains quite active and is passionate about lower limb musculoskeletal injuries and continuing his interest in this area. Elliott has recently completed the MS Get a Head Start Program and is always looking to grow his knowledge and experience.
Outside of work, Elliott spends his time in the gym, tearing up the soccer field or cruising through the ‘twisties’ on his motorcycle.
Exercise Physiologist
Sophie is an Exercise Physiologist who has developed a passion for neurological conditions & chronic disease management. Sophie thoroughly enjoys helping others to reach their full potential and aims to use the latest evidence-based practice to provide clients with the tools needed to reach their goals. She has grown up playing a variety of sports and loves all activities outdoors. She is currently enjoying working with clients with Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injuries and stroke. Sophie enjoys helping people return to exercise and regain their confidence.
Senior Physiotherapist - Neurological and Studio Team Lead
Born and raised in Canberra, Anne grew up competing in Athletics and Cross Country running. Through injury, Anne came into contact with the world of physiotherapy. It was during these times that Anne developed an interest in the human body and decided to become a physiotherapist.
Anne graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy in 2011. Anne has experience in a range of settings including public health, private, rehabilitation and as a rehabilitation consultant.
Anne’s interest in rehabilitation includes amputee, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, spinal cord injury, Motor Neurone Disease, and anything neurological. Anne also has experience working with microprocessor knees in both prosthetic and orthotic equipment.
Anne has been pivotal in assisting transformational rehabilitation in a number of individuals, leading to outcomes which have been nationally recognised in the media. In late 2020, Anne transitioned into a leadership role leading a small team of neurological physiotherapists. Since then, Anne’s team has grown to include other areas of physiotherapy, neurological occupational therapy and allied health assistants.
In her down time, you might catch Anne going for a run or spending time with her husband and 2 small children.
Senior Physiotherapist
Tran graduated from the University of Canberra with a Masters of Physiotherapy after completing her Bachelors of Medical Science at the Australian National University. She gained valuable experience working in the age care and local disability sectors before joining Neurospace in 2018.
Since then, Tran has developed a particular interest in vestibular rehabilitation, dizziness, and the holistic management of multiple sclerosis. She also has a special interest in laser therapy, both as a treatment for complex pain and injuries as well as a powerful therapeutic tool for neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, peripheral neuropathy and dementia. Tran is passionate about working with clients to improve their function, independence, quality of life, striving to help them gain the confidence to achieve their own therapy goals.
Outside of work, Tran likes to spend time with family and friends. She enjoys cycling, exploring the wildlife around Canberra, and tinkering around on the piano every so often.

Senior Physiotherapist - Maternity Leave
Megan moved to Canberra in 2011 to complete her degree at the University of Canberra. Following her completion, Megan worked within ACT Health as a Physiotherapy Assistant before transitioning over to the role of Physiotherapist.
Megan has a passion for working predominantly in the neurological rehabilitation aspect of physiotherapy and her interests in rehabilitation includes traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and spinal cord injury. Megan also has experience working with lower limb amputees.
Megan has specific qualifications in being able to run programs such as LSVT BIG, GLA:D and MS Get a Head Start Programs. She holds a level 1 Dry Needling qualification and is proficient in needling neurological populations for a variety of impairments.
Megan’s current working days are Monday at ACT Neurology Centre in Deakin and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at the Bruce Momentum clinic.
Physiotherapy
Nathan graduated from the University of Canberra in 2023 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Prior to physiotherapy Nathan lived in Tasmania, and has worked in hospitality, fitness coaching, Foxtel installation and warehousing. Has experience in private hospital orthopaedics in-patient and out-patient before joining Momentum in 2024.
Since working at Momentum, Nathan has developed his clinical interest areas of dizziness, balance disorders and a broad range of neurological conditions. He also has special interest in helping clients preparing for, recovering from, or avoiding surgery. Nathan will help empower you take charge of your condition or pain and learn to manage it independently. He is passionate about getting people of all backgrounds and abilities back into movement, or into exercising for the first time, so they can keep doing things that are important to them. Nathan uses a variety of exercise and manual therapy techniques including dry needling.
Outside of work Nathan enjoys riding mountain bikes, snowboarding, painting miniatures, video games, trivia nights and tabletop gaming.
Managing Director, Prosthetist/Orthotist
Nigel Freeman graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics with Honors in 2008. He worked 6 years in clinical prosthetics and orthotics followed by undertaking 18 months of Project Management and service planning in the public health care sector. He developed the Lymphoedema Services Plan for ACT and contributed towards the planning of services at the University of Canberra Hospital prior to its construction.
Nigel started his first sole trader business in 2010. In 2015 Nigel Co-founded Momentum Sports and Rehabilitation Services and then Momentum Health Technologies in 2017. Along with the rest of the team, this has brought about a new approach to allied health services and implemented advanced digital technologies to a range of services.
Nigel’s continued vision is to see an increasing availability of innovative allied health services in more remote locations, including a greater inclusion of Prosthetics and Orthotics in these services.
In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his wife and children. If it fits in, you will see him running, for fitness, and occasionally competing in local triathlons.

Louise completed a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation at the University of Canberra in 2021 and Joined the Neurospace Team in 2023.
Louise enjoys using exercise and lifestyle management tools to help people manage and enhance their health and has a passion for making exercise enjoyable and accessible. Louise has a variety of interests in chronic pain and disease management, neurological and metabolic conditions, paediatric exercise physiology and mental health.
Outside of work Louise enjoys spending her time with family and friends, playing netball, bushwalking and participating in water sports.
Physiotherapist
Che holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Canberra. His interest in allied health began after experiencing a number of sporting injuries growing up, which gave him firsthand insight into the important role exercise and rehabilitation play in recovering from both acute and chronic conditions. This sparked a deeper curiosity in understanding how the body works and how to improve its function.
Che joined the Momentum team in 2023 and brings a strong interest in working with individuals experiencing persistent pain, balance impairments, musculoskeletal conditions, and neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), and Parkinson’s disease. He has undertaken additional training in the management of dizziness and vestibular issues, including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), and is also qualified in dry needling to support the management of these and other conditions.
Outside of the clinic, Che enjoys spending time with his family on the coast, playing guitar, and keeping active through social sports with friends.
AHA/Graduating Exercise Physiologist
Mat has previously completed a Bachelor of Human Biology and Nutrition at University of Canberra and is currently finishing his Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation, also at University of Canberra.Mat completed a clinical placement with NeuroStudio and began working with us as an AHA after this. He enjoys working with neurological conditions and has a specific interest in musculoskeletal and cardiovascular considerations. Mat has had plenty of exercise delivery experience, working as a Les Mills instructor for 3 years, and as an F45 coach for 5 years.Outside of work, Mat enjoys his own exercise, going on walks and snowboarding in the winter.
Exercise Physiologist
Amy began working at Neurospace in May 2017. She graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation at the University of Canberra in 2016. Since graduating she has gained experience in a variety of areas including the management of a variety of chronic diseases, including metabolic, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Amy has a keen interest in assisting people to be able to exercise and remain active regardless of their mobility or stage of life. She aims to assist you in increasing the enjoyment of exercise as part of your regular routine. Amy can work with you to achieve functional goals and increase your capacity for your regular daily activities, or provide more general exercise programs to maintain fitness and strength. She primarily works in the clinic gym but can also attend your home, community gym, pool, or other areas in your community to help build a sustainable program to remain active for life!
Amy grew up in Canberra and in her spare time she enjoys playing piano and guitar, she enjoys hiking, camping and generally being outdoors. To keep fit Amy goes to the gym and takes her 2 dogs walking.
Prosthetist/Orthotist
Isaac is a qualified Prosthetist and Orthotist with a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics from La Trobe University in Melbourne. He has a strong interest in both orthotic and prosthetic management for paediatric and adult clients, with a focus on helping individuals achieve their goals through advanced technologies and evidence-based practice. Committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered care, Isaac brings together clinical expertise and a passion for innovation in the field.
Outside of work, he leads an active lifestyle and enjoys playing tennis as well as spending time at the beach windsurfing and surfing.
Physiotherapist
Elisa has completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra.
She became a physiotherapist because she is interested in understanding how the body works as well as being passionate in supporting others in achieving their goals and improving their function.
During her clinical placements, she obtained expertise in both hospitals and private practices. She enjoys working with clients who have neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, with particular interest in Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and Multiple Sclerosis, and back pain.
When Elisa isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She likes to play board games and netball, as well as baking anything sweet.

Bridie is a Physiotherapist who holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Canberra. She has a strong interest in working with people living with neurological conditions such as stroke and Parkinson’s disease, as well as those managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Bridie is passionate about helping individuals work toward their personal goals—whether that’s improving mobility, managing pain, or enhancing daily function. She values a client-centred approach and is committed to supporting people in achieving greater independence and quality of life through tailored, evidence-based physiotherapy.
Outside of work, Bridie enjoys travelling and exploring new places, staying active, and spending time with her friends and family.
Senior Prosthetist/Orthotist
Jasmine is an Orthotist Prosthetist with experience in public and private sectors. She grew an interest in the industry after needing to see an Orthotist as a child and pursued her education at LaTrobe University in Melbourne, graduating with a Master of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2017 .
She has a strong interest in paediatric orthotic and prosthetic management and is passionate about empowering her clients through education. Her experience further expands to orthotic management of complex adult neurological presentations. Jasmine takes pride in the devices she prescribes and supplies and works closely with individuals, their families and carers to ensure that their needs are heard, accommodated and supported.
Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys staying active and teaching her cats new tricks.
Prosthetist/Orthotist
Rachael was born and raised on the sunny Gold Coast, QLD and moved to Melbourne, VIC to attend La Trobe University to complete her Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Rachael has since moved to Canberra to continue her passion and career of helping others achieve their goals. She is passionate for working with both paediatrics and adults in extensive prosthetic and orthotic care. Rachael is highly motivated to continue to learn the new advancing technologies to ensure she can provide the best evidence-based patient-centred care to her clients. Rachael loves being able to work with clients and provide assistive devices that enable them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
In her spare time Rachael enjoys staying fit and active through playing team sports such as touch football, going to the gym and exploring the hiking trails throughout Canberra. Additionally, she also enjoys baking for her friends and family.
Senior Exercise Physiologist
Jayden graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation in 2020 and joined the Neurospace team in 2021.
He has an interest in a variety of areas such as Neurological conditions, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and injury prevention, chronic pain and disease management as well as strength and conditioning for sports performance or general health and wellbeing.
Outside of work, Jayden plays AFL for the Queanbeyan Tigers and enjoys going for hikes, camping, fishing and playing video games.
Jayden grew up in country NSW and frequently travels home to see his family and friends as well as spend quality time with his multiple dogs.

Patrick was born and raised on a dairy farm in South West Victoria and went on to study a Bachelor of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics at La Trobe University in Melbourne. He has since moved to Canberra to continue pursuing his passion and career in helping others achieve their goals. Patrick is enthusiastic about working with both pediatric and adult clients across the full spectrum of prosthetic and orthotic care. He is highly motivated to continue learning about advancing technologies and clinical practices to ensure he provides best-practice, evidence-based, and person-centered care. Patrick is driven by a strong motivation to help people maintain and improve their physical function, and he finds great purpose in delivering assistive devices that empower clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys going on hiking adventures and playing traditional Irish music on the concertina.
Practice Manager
Alison grew up on the Mid North Coast of NSW and after completing her apprenticeship as a Chef, travelled and worked across Australia, the U.S. and Canada in hospitality, sales and management roles before finally settling in Canberra in 2013.
Ali has spent the past 8 years working in early childhood education, nurturing children aged 6 weeks to school age. Outside of work Ali enjoys spending her time with her family, cooking, gardening, creating macrame art, walking and skiing.
Ali has joined our team in the new role of Practice Manager. She will work to improve our processes and service provision approach so that we continue to provide the best care possible.
Director, Principal Prosthetist/Orthotist
Richard grew up in Canberra, and was exposed to the world of sports prosthetics while still at school. This sparked an interest that remains to this day. Following completion of his qualifications, Richard returned to Canberra and took up work at The Canberra Hospital. In 2010 he began volunteering his time at the Australian Institute of Sport and worked closely with some of the world’s top amputee sprinters.
In 2012, Richard started Momentum from his home garage to offer local support to Canberra’s amputee runners. Richard now provides prosthetic care for some of Australia’s top paralympic athletes across a range of sports. Other areas of interest include paediatrics, complex orthotics, and prosthetic rehabilitation.
In his spare time, Richard enjoys exploring Canberra’s amazing network of mountain bike trails. Richard is also a member of the AOPA National Education Delivery Council which provides educational materials and events for members of the national association.
APA Titled Neurological Physiotherapist
Deborah has worked with neurological and complex rehabilitation clients for 35+ years, after graduating from Lincoln Institute in 1985. Her Masters by research was completed at the University of South Australia in 1997, and her thesis encompassed exploration of postural control, dizziness and brain injury.
Extensive post graduate training has been undertaken across a range of areas in physiotherapy care and holistic health care, including the management of vestibular problems. She has worked in private and public settings nationally and internationally. Most recently working privately in Canberra for the last 17 years. Concurrently, she developed and lectured the neurological physiotherapy teaching program at the University of Canberra, between 2004-2007, and completed writing of the ‘Physiotherapy competencies for the entry-level graduate in neurology’. She started Neurospace in 2008 and within that has continued to develop her special interest treatment of dizziness and complex rehabilitation. She loves to look for new approaches and is always buying new cutting edge equipment for the therapists to play with. The interest in the use of laser to supplement our work has been part of this exploration.
Deborah has sought to promote the benefits of neurological physiotherapy throughout her career, including involvement in the past with the National Neurology Group across three states, and representative for the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s National Advisory Committee. She is also an athletics Paralympic classifier. To be part of a process that has the potential to see people have an opportunity to feel involved in sport is of great importance to her.
In her spare time Deborah loves being with her family, escaping to the beach, getting outdoors and Latin dancing.
